Who am I? 

A Boulder-based journalist. I have spent a decade in the industry, writing and designing for newspapers and magazines (with some photo and video thrown in). I most recently spent 6.5 years at the Boulder Daily Camera, covering business and government.

My passion is long-form narrative journalism, be it investigations (I love data reporting!) or human interest stories. I’m most interested in resilience work.

My hope for this site and associated newsletter is that it can slow journalism down. I understand the value of limiting news consumption; I do it myself. One email once a week should be more than enough to know what’s going on in your town, with the option to explore more if you’re interested.
